Rebecca is a performer, choreographer, teacher and studio owner. She grew up and trained in Sydney across the styles of Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Commercial and Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Ballet. In 2016 Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor of Education (Birth to Twelve) from the University of Notre Dame Australia, and has worked in schools across Sydney as a classroom teacher and dance/drama specialist. Rebecca’s students have performed in NSW State School festivals and placed first at inter school competitions. She is now working with schools choreographing and producing their annual musical productions as well as advising on developing dance programs within schools.
In 2018 Rebecca graduated from the Academy of Music and Performing Arts with an Associate Degree of Dance (Performance). She has been taught by and worked with industry professionals such as Chloe Zuel, Cassie Batho + Rod Salcedo across a wide range of styles. Rebecca has worked in internationally acclaimed movies such as ‘Truth’ with Cate Blanchett as well as local Australian television as an extra/performer. She has been at Stepaside Studios from 2013-2021 as a teacher and performance troupe head coach, and since 2022 is now the Owner/Director. Rebecca has over 10 years of teaching experience across jazz, ballet and lyrical and enjoys working with younger students to develop their teaching skills.

Bianca has been engaged in all genres of the Performing Arts, training under the tutelage of Peter Oxford, Glenda Yee & William Forsythe. She has choreographed for Australian Dance Idol, has taught in several Sydney based dance & has kept a close association with Showcase The Australian Dance Championships, hosting Ballrooms at Nationals on the Gold Coast, QLD.
After completing full-time under the guidance of Jacqui Howard, Kelly Abbey, Matt Lee & Cameron Mitchell, Bianca's dance career saw her travel within Australia, Japan, America & New Zealand, working alongside performers including Kylie Minogue, Marcia Hines, Dean Perry & Adam Garcia. Bianca’s acting success has seen her appear in the Mini Series Brides of Christ, roles in TV series such as Water Rats, Police Rescue, A Country Practice and Home & Away. She has taught Dance & Drama (Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12) in Primary & Secondary Schools for over 15 years; developing extensive co-curricular dance programs, experience as a HSC & IB Dance & Theatre teacher, Head of House (Pastoral Care) & acting Head of Drama.
Bianca brings a wealth of industry knowledge to her role at Stepaside and she is delighted to share with you the wonderful talents of the Stepaside students in her after 12 years as Principal and now stepping back to a teacher role.
Joining Stepaside Studios in 2018, Natalie is trained in a variety of styles & has completed Classical Ballet examinations under R.A.D and Advanced Classical examinations under Cecchetti Ballet Australia. Natalie has performed and competed in various competitions at a national and international level, having recently just returned from competing in Orlando, Florida placing 5th overall.
Currently studying a Bachelor of Primary Education, Natalie’s love for working with children is evident in her fine tutelage & guidance given to her students. Natalie enjoys watching her students grow from young lovers of dance to mature, hard working students.
TEACHER & ADMINSTRATION
Bachelor of Dance (Performance), Certificate III in Business Administration, Reformer Pilates Certification (KX Academy)
Rachelle began dancing at the age of 3 and has trained in the styles ballet, jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, tap and hiphop. She is an independent contemporary dancer who over the last two years has had the chance to learn from and work with many established creatives in the industry and performing at events such as Sydney Festival and March Dance. Rachelle has a passion for learning and studying in various fields to support her dance and teaching practices, in the last few years she has completed her Bachelor of Dance (Performance), Certificate III in Business Administration and Reformer Pilates Certification (KX Academy).
She began as a student teacher at the age of 12 and for the last 4 years has taught ballet, contemporary, lyrical, jazz and hiphop. Rachelle is excited to introduce students to dance through fun, educational and well-rounded classes and to motivate older students to challenge and surprise themselves with every new skill.
Bachelor of Dance (Performance)
Caitlin has completed a Bachelor of Dance (Performance) at Academy of Music and Performing Arts Majoring in Jazz. She began her dance training at the age of four and is now entering her sixth year of teaching. She has been trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Lyrical and Hip Hop. Caitlin has performed in shows such as Australian Dance Festival, Impetus, Fusion, Eclipse, Reflections and Elysium, as well working with the Manly-Warringah Seabirds during the NRL Season as a member of their cheer squad.
Caitlin is excited to join the Stepaside Studios community in 2022 as a jazz, ballet and soloist teacher.
Advanced Diploma of Dance & Diploma of Musical Theatre
Zoe has been dancing since she was 3 years old and has gone on to become a professional performer, appearing in a series of cabarets, stage shows, TV shows, immersive theatre experiences and even a theme park. She has also obtained her Advanced Diploma of Dance and Diploma of Musical Theatre, as well as participating to high levels of RAD ballet exams and Glenwood tap exams. Zoe is a highly experienced teacher, having worked with a huge variety of students across multiple genres of dance. She enjoys creating a fun and safe classroom environment and can’t wait to share her passion for dance with the students at Stepaside this year!
Cert III in Live Production & Services, Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts (ED5 - Current)
Having trained in all aspects of the performing arts since a young age, Joshua continues to make his mark on Sydney’s arts scene as an emerging performer and creative. Currently studying an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts at ED5 International, Joshua has had the opportunity to hone his craft and further his training from A-Live Performing Arts Centre under industry professionals such as William A Forsythe, Leslie Bell, Sheena Crouch and Ed Wightman.
With a passion for musical theatre, he has been lucky enough to appear in various theatre productions in Sydney, most recently understudying Eddie and Chistery in Packemin’s respective productions of Mamma Mia! and Wicked. Joshua is also a regular entertainer at Luna Park Sydney as a part of their Showtime team and is a dedicated musician in his spare time. In addition to his on-stage ventures, he completed a Certificate III in Live Production and Services in 2019 which has seen him go on to explore the world of sound design and operation for companies such as Darlinghurst Theatre Company and Riverside Theatres.
Isabelle began her dance training at the age of 5, in the styles of ballet and tap. She has completed ADV examinations from beginner through to level 5 at Stepaside Studios. Isabelle has been a student teacher at Stepaside since 2018, working in class with younger students as well as assisting on stage with Tiny Tots. She was a lead in the 2021 Stepaside concert ‘Enchanted’ as the ‘Fairy Queen’. Isabelle has trained in ballet, tap, musical theatre, contemporary, lyrical, cabaret and jazz. She is currently in year 11 and studying Dance for her HSC. This year, Isabelle is hoping to achieve her certificate 2 in dance studies. She can’t wait to work with the younger students at Stepaside and continue watching them grow this year.
